If you plan to use this tool for frozen and rusted bolts that are 5/8" to 7/8" in diameter, then you are using it within the rated torque. If you are sitting on fasteners for longer than 7 seconds where the nut or bolt is NOT TURNING; STOP and use a 1 drive impact wrench for the job. The torque range is 300 to 1080 foot pounds. These numbers are higher than the typical numbers I see for 3/4 drive tools like the IR261, the Snap on IM75 and the CP7763. This tool weighs about 7.5 pounds bare and is a composite material with some magnesium alloy in the makeup.
The anvil has a hole for a locking pin to retain sockets as well as a 2-piece, 3/4 retaining ring kit installed. The tool comes in a sealed bag from Chicago Pneumatic.
